SUMMARY:AVLAN Riverfly kick-sampling for invertebrates – Bank Car Park
DESCRIPTION:Come along to join an enthusiastic group of AVLAN volunteers at 10.00 am on Saturday 17th October for about 1 – 1.5 hours.  We will be kick-sampling for invertebrates, such as cased caddis, freshwater shrimp and mayfly larvae, which are all indicators of water quality.\n\nIt’s interesting and fun!\nWe will kick-sample in the Bank Car Park near the Community Centre, as the river is dry in Flood Meadows as usual at this time of year.\n\n
