Information and outreach

One of the main aims of ACAN is to provide reliable, trustworthy information about the climate crisis to the local population in Alton and its villages – particularly through this website (see the Climate Crisis Resources section in particular).

We hold stalls in markets, fairs and at other community events, provide speakers for groups, and publish regularly in the Alton Herald and in the Round & About magazine, as well as in village magazines and newspapers.

We maintain an active Facebook page.  We would like to instigate more content on social media and we are also keen to hear from you with more ideas for reaching out to people.
