Riverfly – Invertebrate sampling in Flood Meadows

Join an enthusiastic group of AVLAN volunteers at 10.00 am on 4th January for one hour,  near the bridge across the river from the Basingstoke Road entrance to Flood Meadows.  We will be kick-sampling for invertebrates, such as cased caddis, freshwater shrimp and mayfly larvae, which are all indicators of water quality.

It’s interesting and fun!
