Alton Local Action for Nature (AVLAN)

AVLAN is a community group for improving our local area for wildlife. We think that nature is beautiful and want us all to make space for it in our gardens, parks, road verges and industrial estates. We also want as many people in our community to appreciate the value of the nature on our doorsteps.

We are about practical action and learning and are open to expert and novice alike. You can find out more about the wildlife in Alton and the nearby villages, find out about our projects and learn more about what you can do in places like your garden and neighbourhood to help wildlife.

Find us on Facebook.
