Eating for Tomorrow Film & Dinner
Animal agriculture is the leading cause of deforestation around the globe. At the same time the consumption of ultra processed meats has been incontrovertibly linked to increased risk of heart disease and certain cancers. Thankfully there is an alternative.
At our “Eating for Tomorrow” event we will be screening the award-winning documentary “Eating our way to extinction” and following it with a discussion led by Doctor Shireen Kassam – founder of Plant-based Health Professionals, who is featured in the film.
It will be an evening to remember as we join together to face the dark side of some food production techniques and the wonderful alternatives available to us.
We want everyone to come along so we have a tiered ticket pricing system. All tickets include a delicious plant-based meal provided by Jo’s Kitchen and the event is licensed for you to bring your own alcohol if you wish – soft drinks, tea and coffee will also be available.
