Please join the team to keep Alton Community Share running. This much-loved “library” of donated toys, games and jigsaws, powered by the community for the community, was re-opened in April 2025. It had been closed for 3 months following the departure at Christmas 2024 of the amazing volunteer team who had been running it since 2020.

We successfully recruited 4 wonderful new volunteers, but two of them have had to withdraw due to illness. If the Share is to open reliably each month, we need at least two more volunteers to join the team.

The commitment is just once a month, on the afternoon of the second Saturday. It’s a fun afternoon chatting with families and young children.

We have had to cancel the July 2025 Share session. This must not happen again.
