The events team at SustainaBites are enjoying a well-earned rest after our busiest month yet.

Four gigs in October have provided plenty of opportunities to meet people and introduce them to the delights of plant-based foods. The wonderful Saffron, whose PhD covers the health and environmental benefits of eating a largely plant-based diet, gave an excellent talk to the Alton Ramblers at their AGM, with plenty of engagement leading to a lot of interest in our nibbles.

Please note Sustainabites have added some new recipes to their web page including Eleanor’s ever popular flapjack.
There is also a link to the EAT-Lancet Planetary Health Diet which has a lot of information, at all levels, for all ages. Do take a look.
In the meantime, if you want to join Sustainabites, or want them to talk or provide nibbles at an event, just get in touch via sustainabitesuk@gmail.com

Find Sustainabites next at the Christmas Fair on Friday 21st November and don’t miss their next film screening in January of the documentary “Food for Thought” with a plant-based meal included in the price.
