REPORTS ON BUILDINGS, TRANSPORT AND LAND USE for East Hants COP26

East Hampshire’s COP-26 conference took place on 8th October at Alton Maltings.

Ahead of the event, three Action Groups had been set up to investigate decarbonisation options at national and local levels and make recommendations to government, East Hants District Council, community groups and individuals. The reports focus on three major sources of carbon emissions in this district – buildings, transport, and land use and agriculture. The group chairmen presented their findings on stage before being questioned by Colin Channon, editor of the Herald Series.

ACAN was represented on all three action groups. Here are the reports – lots of detail, but well worth a bedtime read!
