73 people logged in for this inspiring talk by Alison Melvin of Binsted Eco Network who brought us all up to speed on the way we use and fail to recycle plastics in Hampshire and the world at large.

After her myth busting talk and quiz it became very clear that we have got a long way to go to tackle the mountains of plastic waste we create every year.

The talk was followed by a lively discussion of the problems and possible solutions and it was agreed we needed a follow on meeting to come up with appropriate actions we can take here in the Alton area.
