To increase the range of plastic we can recycle locally, ACAN has installed Terracycle bins for selected waste (see list below) in: The Energy Advice and Eco-Cafe at 16 Market Square; Alton Library; and Energique Health Club, Anstey Lane, GU34 2NB. Bins will be installed very shortly in the Community Centre (Amery Street) and Resurrection Furniture (21b High Street, Alton). 

The Terracycle scheme is financially supported by East Hampshire District Council’s Green Team and is included in their short term climate action plan as a community waste project.

Please bring accepted waste only. Many flexible bags cannot be included, just those from bread and bakery products or the other listed streams here:
