Young ACAN was born at the 2021 Eco-Fair in Alton’s Public Gardens where the youth voice was heard loud and clear.

Young ACAN’s aims are:

To empower young people to reclaim their future through local climate action

To give young people in our community a voice.

In 2023 the Young ACAN Partnership was launched with nearly every school (16 of them) in the area signed up and working together.

Young ACAN’s second Eco-Conference for schools will take place on 1 July 2024 in Alton Maltings.
